OUR APPROACH

Operation Stable Ground works to identify urgent needs, connect veterans to trusted community partners, and support long-term stability through housing navigation, employment pathways, benefits assistance, wellness resources, and continued follow-up.
Operation Stable Ground is a Next Mission Veterans Alliance initiative focused on helping veterans move from crisis to stability. Our mission is to connect veterans experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity with the resources, support, and pathways they need to regain safe housing, rebuild stability, and move forward with dignity.

WHAT OPERATION SOLID GROUND PROVIDES
Housing Resource Navigation
We help veterans connect with local housing programs, emergency shelter options, rental assistance resources, and community-based support.
Benefits and Documentation Support
We assist veterans in identifying needed documents, understanding available benefits, and connecting with agencies that can help move their case forward.
Employment and Workforce Pathways
Stable housing and meaningful employment go hand in hand. We connect veterans to job readiness support, apprenticeship opportunities, employer partners, and workforce resources.
Community Partner Referrals
We work with nonprofits, service providers, local agencies, businesses, and community organizations to help veterans access food, transportation, clothing, mental health support, legal aid, and family services.
Follow-Up and
Stability Planning
Our goal is not just placement. Our goal is long-term stability. We follow up with veterans to help reduce barriers and support their next steps.
