WHO WE ARE

Next Mission Veterans Alliance is built to serve veterans and military families through a coordinated network of services and strategic partnerships. Our approach focuses on immediate stabilization, long-term opportunity, and trusted community-based support.

We recognize that successful transition after military service can require support in multiple areas at once. That is why our model is designed to connect individuals not just to one service, but to a pathway forward.

We meet veterans and military families where they are, using a practical service model that combines direct support, strategic collaboration, and community connection.

WHAT WE DO
The Challenges Veterans Face
And Our Commitment to Change It.
Each year, thousands of veterans transition from military service into civilian life carrying not only their skills and experience, but also significant challenges that can impact their stability, well-being, and future success. While many veterans thrive, far too many face obstacles that can derail their transition if the right support systems are not in place.

Recent data highlights the urgency of this issue:

-
Financial Instability: Nearly one-third of veterans report difficulty paying bills within the first few years after leaving the military.
-
Substance Abuse: Approximately one in five veterans struggle with alcohol or substance use challenges.
-
Incarceration Risk: Veterans are more likely to encounter the justice system, with about one in three reporting at least one arrest.
-
Unemployment: Roughly three in ten veterans have relied on unemployment compensation after transitioning out of service.
-
Homelessness: As of January 2024, over 32,000 veterans were experiencing homelessness across the United States.
These numbers are more than statistics—they represent real individuals who served our country and now face barriers to stability, opportunity, and long-term well-being.
